then, because you are fresh to deckbuilding and it is not bad for a 1. deck i donate you some time :)

theme is clear, rohan, then strategy is also clear, quest with all and kill with Éomer what enemy is left from last round in the staging. for that a low thread is important, what yur startingthread is (24 eowyns bnus is not calculated in the 27).

you only need some advice to make it work better:

• Steward of Gondor is you use it, take 3 (and you perhaps do not use it because you have Théodred and you might include Captain's Wisdom
• optimize weapons and armour
• • Golden Belt so Éomer can get 3 weapon and kill more effective
• • discard Golden Shield your heroues should not defend, you want to kill with Éomer in staging or chump (sacrifice a cheap ally)
• • add 3. Spear of the Mark its the best weapon Éomer can get
• • replace Valiant Sword with War Axe the axe can be wield by allies if eomer has enough
• discard Song of Kings 2 le-heroes with option to give Théodred bonus to a ld seems enough
• 1 Quick Strike is enough you only can use it effectively with Éowyn the 1 time she uses her ability
• max out (+1) the Feint it saves an ally each time :)
• max out (+1) Gandalf because you have Sneak Attack and the´is combo is an alltime evergreen

optimizing the allies:

• include Faramir he loeves Éowyn anyways so you even stay in theme ;) and in most szenarious you need more willpower
• discard 2 Guthlaf 1 is enough
• discard the Horseback Archer they are not worth 3 cost
• Westfold Outrider does not seem much sense, if you want to kill in the staging

(guthlaf and #westfold do make more sense in multiplayer if there is a gondorhero at the table)

your allies should have willpower and/or attackpower and should be effective/cheap. therfore these are better than the ones i recomand to discard:

• Westfold Lancer (can quest OR attack, whatever you need)
• Defender of Rammas they have a chance to survive an attack
• Riddermark Knight if you want attack
• Ceorl he is just good for its cost
• Grimbold expensive, but can quest until you need hin to save a hero

hope you enjoy my "basic" advices ;) if you are more comfortable with deckbuilding coonsider Forth, The Three Hunters! to make these heroes even more effective.

if you want to include Alep, there are more cards to consider, but for the start perhaps the original content is enough?

Thanks for the input! I've played a few games and have a bit of a grasp of the game. Just trying to make a deck with the collection I have (some of the cards you suggest aren't in my collection).

I made the deck with those of my fellow players in mind. Trying to cover a few bases here and there. I'll definitely look into those cards and shuffle it around a bit. Probably tweak it when I play it more. :D
