Premise
This deck is one my favourite support decks. You will not win a lot of quests by yourself, however the amount of cards, resources and benefits through side quests you can provide is very strong. There are also the huge added benefits of running 6 cancels and questing quite decently from the get-go thorugh your high-willpower heroes and Power of Command.
The amount of card draw/fetching tools also leads to the deck being very consistent, something that is of course very much further enabled by usually triggering Gather Information in the very first round.
How To Play
Your target for Messenger of the King is usually Halfast Gamgee, his resource can be put whereever it is needed most (even across the table). Thurindir's ability is almost always used to grab Gather Information, which is when explored in the first round absolutely huge for the entire table. In my opening hand, I try to have some form of early resource acceleration to ensure a good start for the group.
Aside from a couple of specific cards to help you with clearing your side quests with a high probability (such as Bofur, Far-sighted and Heirs of Earendil), most cards should be very self-explanatory. Steward of Gondor can go onto one of your heroes (most likely Thurindir, especially if you consider going the Gaffer Gamgee route to ensure some combat prowess on your side), I often like to put it somwhere else though. If you plan to put Steward somewhere else, make sure to be ahead of the likely targeted player in the player order so that they can then use the resources gained through Steward in their first planning phase.
Considerations
All cards in the sideboard apart from Mablung, who is just generally very good and the "51st" card, are mostly there for adjusting to the table's needs in specific circumstances. Coney in a Trap/Legacy Blade are good if more enemy management is required, Warden of Healing I use if I deem The Long Defeat (plus whatever other options other players are bringing) as unsufficient to cover healing, The Storm Comes can be useful in case there being another deck across the table profiting greatly from it (for your own ally pool, you only seldomly need it).
