This deck is meant to be played as a fellowship with the corresponding hobbits deck.

Getting Steward of Gondor and Sword that was Broken on Aragorn are key to making this deck work. If CelebrĂan's Stone appears before Sword that was Broken, then grab that to make Aragorn a strong questing hero with the boost.

The allies in this deck are not super important. However, getting a Defender of Rammas in play can really help absorb an attack and leave Aragorn free for attacking. The Longbeard Elder is especially useful if Sword that was Broken is in play.

Rivendell Blade on Legolas and Citadel Plate on Gimli will make things a lot easier. The Rivendell Blade pairs nicely with Foe-hammer to get some card draw from this deck. Captains of the West should be played when you expect to clear Sarn Gebir to avoid taking the direct damage on your noble heroes.

Placing Unexpected Courage on Gimli will allow him to both quest and defend/attack. If Gimli has also been buffed with Citadel Plate and has a bunch of damage, he'll be able to crush most enemies on his own. Adding a DĂșnedain Cache will allow him to help the hobbits as well.
