I present my first deck with Sméagol
Thematic, with Frodo Baggins , The One Ring and dear Sam Gamgee .
I see you, yes.. you ! Who tell me : "hop hop hop, you can't play this contract with the one ring ! Cheater !" I Know that, but it s really thematic ! Represent adventure of Frodo before go definitely into the West
This contract Into the West is definitely my favourite contract ! I love it so much !
So, just few words about deck and gameplay --)
Mulligan : A Very Good Tale, Rivendell Scout, Timely Aid, Spare Pipe, Ithilien Lookout
This is probably the part of best starting hand !
Gameplay : Find Halfast Gamgee with setup contract, play Guardian of Ithilien, Celduin Traveler, Bill the Pony or Rivendell Scout , after that, Timely Aid , and let's go A Very Good Tale ! Thanks Spare Pipe and Drinking Song to help us !
This deck is low threat,.so, usually I have 3 rounds to be in place ! Frodo can manage an enemy lot of rounds without issue ! The contract offer me lot of resources because the majority of my allies enter play with reduction cost ! Thanks secrecy, thanks AVGT !
And for drawcard : Gandalf, Sméagol, Into the West, Drinking Song, A Lesson in Caution, Spare Pipe !
I tested this deck versus 3 quests : Intruders In Chetwood Nightmare, Raid on the grey havens NM, The ruines of Belegost . All one shoted !
Finally, I love this deck, and I hope you will like him too !

Jan 20, 2025Just played it against Intruders in Chetwood, fantastic deck! I was surprised how effective it was; it feels so good to play Gandalf, get his stats and ability for the round, then get a 5-resource reimbursement at the end of the round and card draw. |

I love thematic decks, and hobbits are so much fun in this game. Can't wait to try this out!
