this deck is inspired by seastan's Círdan the Shipwright, Folco Boffin, Éowyn deck.
I replaced Éowyn with Éowyn to enable Golden Shield as a better defense than Blood of Númenor, also chose to include Narya and a few allies because.
-
the plan : Ditch Folco as soon as necessary to avoid attack while we set up or to discount Resourceful (goes on Cirdan), triggering Strider for eowyn. Then use Cirdan, Master of the Forge, Open the Armory, Gather Information and Elven-light to draw into attachments and some allies to complete the picture. Use A Good Harvest to play Master of the Forge and cards when Folco and Narya are missing.
-
On Eowyn : Herugrim and Golden Shield plus an Unexpected Courage/Magic Ring to handle combat while strider lets her quest and boost , along with Celebrían's Stone, Necklace of Girion and Rally the West as well as Elrond's Counsel in a pitch.
-
On Cirdan the shipwright : Narya for and ally boosting, Magic Ring and Steward of Gondor for ressource generation and Light of Valinor or the second unexpected courage for Narya use.
-
Allies : To use Narya while maintaining the Strider bonus, we want to have 2 or 3 allies in play. Ideally we want Treebeard, Glorfindel and Warden of Healing in play, as all three benefit from narya. the extra warden and master of the forge should be used to chump to keep strider active.Gandalf is also very good with narya during his one turn use.
Ideally when all is assembled our two heroes quest for 16 without exhausting. Éowyn can attack and block for 12 each round, and thanks to Narya Glorfindel, Treebeard and a warden should let us quest for 5 more while still being available for combat, or participate in combat multiple times in a round.
