hiho,

you still have 56 cards. why so many not this much effective ld-events?

the question is not, can those cards help, the question is, does a cheap ally helps more than that event. and in the most cases i think it does, and then its better to reduce the cards to get the more effefctive ones (that are the allies)

(e.g yes Ever Vigilant is cool if faramir is out, but if faramir is out, you will rarely loose, so this card is a winmore, then Fresh Tracks with a single copy, how much luck do you need to have this special card for the special enemy where you need it really? ...)

the only ones that give you more than a cheap ally are Sneak Attack and perhaps equal to a cheap ally (and usuable for tactic and ld) Wealth of Gondor every other leadershipevent is very luck depended or not worth it.

no Gondorian Shield or Dúnedain Warning availaible?

Hello @doomguard

My thoughts on them were:

Gondorian Shield - no not available

Dúnedain Warning - potentially putting in in replace of? The Dúnedain Mark potentially?

Ever Vigilant - I've misread, I thought this was any character, not restricted to allies - that will come out

Fresh Tracks - yes a 1/56 pull, but in there for that 1 scenario that may lead me to get engaged with 2 or 3 enemies in a turn, or potentially where I need 1 turn to stall

For Gondor! - affects 2 of my heroes, and 13/23 of the allies I've taken, so if I play an ally at all theres over a 50% chance that it'll be affected by For Gondor alongside 2 of the heroes

Parting Gifts is a freebie that is in there for the off chance that I need to use 2 or 3 tactics cards in a turn and Beregond hasn't got the resources to do so

So by removing Ever Vigilant, Fresh Tracks and Parting Gifts that takes me down to a 52 card deck.

My most recent update of the deck

@warning/mark i would do so. defense is more important than offense, and we know, there are trolls out. specially lacking the shield, with a Dúnedain Warning and a Behind Strong Walls or that from you favoured For Gondor! beregond can take a trollhit without damage.

so, then i would cut the Song of Battle (remember you have still 3 Errand-rider IF resourssemanipulation is needed) and leave it then to a 51 deck, perhaps depending on testing remove 1 For Gondor! yes this card gives a lot bonus, but the question is, is it needed? solo i doubt it, in multiplayer it can help a lot, and it is expensive for an event)

some basic advice:

you have no carddraw except gandalf (or gandalf with sneack)

so if we asume you play about 10 turns and use 2 gandalfs (or 1 gandalf + a sneack) you will draw 6(starting hand)+10(turns)+6(2 uses of gandalf) = 22 cards.

so u will never draw your entire deck so concentrate on those cards that are most valuable for the playstyle (that is imo steward for more res, defense and attack from heroes + quest an attack from allies + good buff from faramir and Sword that was Broken).

so, having 2 copies from a card, it has only about 50% coming out before turn 5 and a 1 copy card is more likely to not seen at all then to draw it.
