DarkChucky 24

This deck was made for multiplayer games.

Currently, I only play with at least 3 players, and I don't play solo. For this reason, I made this deck for Multiplayer.

Objective: While the other players are concerned with engaging enemies and sending willpower into the quest, Aragorn fully supports the other players.

Setup - Aragorn starts with Song of Kings by the The Grey Wanderer effect. The objective is to play Steward of Gondor on T1.

Allies (easily played by belonging to the two initial Aragorn spheres, being and . In addition to having help from Timely Aid:

Creating the Savior

  • 3x Resourceful: Aragorn generates 4 resources per round + 2 of Steward of Gondor.
  • Roheryn + Gondorian Fire: With lots of resources, when you have to engage enemies, kill them before they know it.
  • Thorongil: Choose which color/skill you want, with three Aragorn options (,,).
  • Celebrían's Stone + Strider: Send Aragorn on the quest without exhausting him, and contribute 4 free willpower per turn. In addition to making it , and playing cards of this type more easily.
  • Mithril Shirt: In the worst case scenario, if Aragorn takes fatal damage, he will survive.

In addition to all the above combos, we still have The Grey Wanderer's abilities.

This deck is missing Desperate Alliance

You can send Aragorn to another player and then lower their threat to their starting threat. This is do-able for each player once per game.

Cool deck! But yes, I would definitely add Desperate Alliance. When everyone else is about to die of threat, Aragorn comes to the rescue!

@Madd.Dawgg and @Turgon Wow! Epic idea! Any idea what I can substitute for it?

@DarkChucky Well, to use it to the best of its abilities you're going to want one for every other player in the game. So I would add in 2 or 3 Desperate Alliance and take out Mithril Shirt and maybe one copy of Faramir? Not sure how much you struggle with or how much card draw you have (whether or not it's likely enough that you'll draw one card copies). I don't know how much you've used Thorongil, but it also seems a little less necessary than some other cards.

@DarkChucky of course! And I forgot to add that I like the deck a lot!

with the new errata provided by ALEP, gondarian fire limited to + 3 attack max... you'll probably want to add more combat strength to aragorn. Depending if you use there errata. but if we think about it, it's a good errata no single card should be abled to give an enormous boosts on a stat.

@serre Thanks for the tip! I didn't know about this errata... But on second thought, it makes sense.
