This is my first take on the new The Riddle-game game contract. It is less focused on making maximum use out of your starting guarded attachment but benefiting from immediately starting with an engaged enemy in Hungry Creature without having to defend an attack. This is amazing for Dunedain cards, right away Halbarad doesn't exhaust to quest, Amarthiúl gains a Tactics icon and gets quicker to his extra ressource generation and you get +1 engaged enemy for you other cards like Heir of Valandil and Sarn Ford Sentry. Depending on risky you feel, you might want to deliberately not discard to the effect of Hungry Creature to keep it around for an extra turn!

Our third hero is Damrod even with only 9 Traps in the deck, because Forest Snares and Outmatched are amazing with Dunedain. Being able to play Outmatched turn 1 thanks to the tactics icon is huge, allowing a double defense with Amarthiul. He is our main defender and should get Dúnedain Warning, Hauberk of Mail and Armored Destrier.

Our guarded attachment of choice is the Stone of Elostirion and goes on Halbarad. 2 extra willpower helps early on and the card draw helps compensate the discards for The Riddle-game. Dunedain decks have some nice 3-4 cost allies to discard to Hungry beast alongside the usual 1-2 cost cards. I included some extra 0 costers in Dúnedain Remedy and Ioreth to discard if the shadow effect is a treachery. In the early game you also should hold back from playing your Daeron's Runes and We Are Not Idle to have more discard fodder and with that you should be able to solve the riddle game.

I really like the Dúnedain decks and The Riddle-game can really take them to the next level. Recently I've also build a Dúnedain deck around this concept, except I went with Money Monger - Mablung instead of King of Traps - Damrod.

I like how contract really forces you to think about the cost spread of your deck if you want to beat it consistently. From my experience 2 or 0 is the most common with 3 also being quite prevalent. I found 1 to be the least common out of all of them.

One thing that surprised me in your deck-list is the absence of Dúnedain Hunter. It is an extra 0 cost ally with amazing stats that lets you engage and possibly snare an enemy before it even has a chance to attack. Any reason you did not include this ally?
