Hello ^^ I made this deck for the LOTR Saga. But what I saw in the first 4 missions, surprised me. I won without losing and with few changes the first 4 quests of the saga.
Some cards I usually trade in or out depending on the missions:
Galadriel;
Elrond;
Glorfindel;
A Test of Will
The focus of the deck is Gandalf obviously, he can carry: Gandalf's Staff; Magic Ring; Narya; Shadowfax; Wizard Pipe; (and Glamdring in Saga ^^)
And in some strange scenario; Steward of Gondor, Visionary Leadership and Gondorian Shield.
The second focus of the deck is Gondor Swarm, to pass easy on questing with Faramir and Visionary Leadership. Denethor usually is with Steward of Gondor and can accelerate the entry of Glorfindel (giving some resource to Eleanor) or some other Heavy Ally.
In the journey of the saga, if all goes well, you will earn complements that will give your heros more attack (Glamdring) and that is great!!! (attack was the only problem that i passed in this deck, with some tough enemies, im talking to you Balrog...)
Narya and Glorfindel, are some ways to have great attackers in this deck.
Some "combo" that i like in this deck is A Very Good Tale and the reduced cost of Citadel Custodian ussualy two allies enter on the field, and you swap the top card you see, with some lucky you can hit a Valiant Sacrifice or another A Very Good Tale ^^

you will have problems at black gate to get more than 6 rounds, what will make mount doom nearly impossible. you can improve combat and questing with outlands. that would be my suggestion for at least black gate and perhaps battle at pellenor if u struggle there. if going outlands, depends on testing wich hero is better to swap for Hirluin the Fair . depending black gate and pellenor it might be possible to eat the tracheries (and therfore swap #eleanor), Ioreth and some Warden of Healing (playable with gandalf) could help.
if you only have rev-con-only, then it would be harder and you might need Grim Resolve for the hard times (quest with everything and then refresh all for fighting.
whatever way you choose the Armored Destrier is a worthy addition, and if it becomes harder and u need more actions with gandalf add some Unexpected Courage
to squeeze out 1-2 rounds at black gate Ever Vigilant could help to get double or tripple use of Faramir (in addition to a possible narya on faramir) that way you can handle willpowerchallenges.
for mount doom, if u want to keep Gandalf i suggest to add a hobbit (preferable Sam Gamgee) and boost him with Fireside Song and much songs and not play many allies. if you not have acces to it, try to build up as much willpower on heroes as possible and play Faramir as only ally. that would a complete rebuild of the deck, but perhaps u need it. (e.g. Galadriel + Nenya helps a lot with that willpowerissues in mount doom, count for questing and a possible staminatest)
