One half of a 2-handed Dwarf Fellowship, based heavily on my first OHaUH Dwarf Fellowship. Link: https://www.ringsdb.com/decklist/view/16046/thorinslore-2.0

I built this deck with the aim of beating We Must Away, Ere Break of Day and getting the Treasures. My idea was to use Gimli with Khazad! Khazad! and Heavy Stroke to defeat Tom in one attack, so I could then swarm the other Trolls and defeat them. I managed to do just this on my 2nd attempt with the deck, and then played through the other the OHaUH scenarios with the Treasures and managed them absolutely fine. I have also played some other Dwarrowdelf scenarios, for the full list see the Fellowship description.

This deck was built with cards from the first 2 full cycles, HoN, EaAD, TMV, the first 4 LotR sagas and OHaUH.

Strategy

I haven't played a vast number of scenarios with the decks, but I usually want to see Erebor Record Keepers in an opening hand, but Dwarrowdelf Axe, A Burning Brand and Feint are all very nice for particular scenarios. Any starting hand with 2 cheap Dwarf allies seems to work most of the time.

I usually pass resources from the other deck to Bifur every round, but early on Gimli can pass his resource to Bifur to get lore allies out.

The first Dwarrowdelf Axe goes on Gimli so he can use Foe-hammer and Goblin-cleaver. Ring Mail can go on Bifur or Dáin Ironfoot. The first Song of Battle goes on Bifur, and the 2nd can go on Ori but it's not usually necessary. Legacy of Durin usually goes on Bifur but can go on any of the heroes from this deck.

Bofur usually quests or attacks, unless I really need an Axe. I was disappointed that Bofur couldn't retrieve the Treasures for the OHaUH scenarios, but he is the strongest questing ally in the deck aside from Gandalf. Bombur is great for the Dwarrowdelf scenarios to help deal with high threat locations. Erebor Record Keepers are really useful later in the game to ready Dáin Ironfoot for the attack boost or to ready a character for combat.

In a usual round, Ori will quest along with most questing allies (allies that don't usually quest are: Bombur, Erebor Battle Master, Dori, Master of the Forge Warden of Healing

I will reserve the Erebor Record Keepers if I have resources to spare to ready Dwarves. Early on Bifur might also need to quest. Gimli can defend a few weak attacks before he is ready to attack.

Bifur is the main defender once he has a few attachments, and Gimli with Erebor Battle Master can usually kill most enemies easily.

Once this deck gets going it seems very strong, card draw isn't a problem wiht Ori and with Dáin Ironfoot in the other deck willpower is quite strong as well.

Changes

The cards in the sideboard are card I used for particular scenarios: I used Heavy Stroke, Out of the Wild and Fast Hitch for We Must Away Ere Break of Day, instead of Master of the Forge and Gandalf. I also didn't have Veteran Axehand or as many Wardens of Healing.

For the rest of the scenarios I took out Heavy Stroke and Out of the Wild for more healers and allies. I only used Fast Hitch for Bilbo in We Must Away, I didn't think it was useful for the other 2 OHaUH scenarios.

Any feedback is much appreciated!

Looks like a pretty great deck, thanks for sharing! Out of curiosity what were you playing Out of the Wild to try to avoid in particular?

Thanks!

I was trying to avoid Wind-Whipped Rain and Roast 'Em or Boil 'Em. Most of the allies are quite fragile and it was very annoying to lose to the Trolls if I revealed 1-2 at the start of quest stage 2. I didn't like Wind-Whipped Rain on stage 2, I could get away with not playing many attachments on stage 1, but losing Axes/Ring Mails/Hardy Leadership/A Burning Brand/Unexpected Courage that I was counting on to survive combat was frustrating. Even worse was losing Fast Hitches on Bilbo that I would need for him to remove Sacks with the action of Troll Camp on stage 2.

I think I could have managed without it, if I had some good luck with the encounter deck. (Or just played better!)
