Overview

This is a multiplayer support deck that’s primarily designed to give teammates LOTS of card draw, threat reduction, a sprinkle of location control, and can still do a little bit of fighting. The central idea of this deck is in the name - use Desperate Alliance (and recur with Dwarven Tomb) to allow each player to use the "once per game" abilities of Aragorn and Galdor of the Havens. [Note: the official ruling is that "once per game" abilities can be used once by EACH player, thus, shenanigans!]

Opening Hand

Use Galdor's selective mulligan ability to get To the Sea, to the Sea! + some other card draw (preferably Elven-light). Remember, his selective mulligan DISCARDS cards, so if you see Glorfindel, Lords of the Eldar or Elven-light in your first starting hand, feel free to discard them! You don't necessarily need Desperate Alliance in your starting hand, but you'll want it as soon as your teammates would start to stall after they've played the key cards in their starting hands.

Strategy

This deck has a RIDICULOUS amount of card-draw to try to find your Desperate Alliances and Dwarven Tombs to recur it. That’s the main goal. After that, feel free to spread the love and use your card draw tools on other players - Gléowine, Imladris Stargazer, Heed the Dream, and most importantly, Galdor's ability...

How to pass Galdor's action

Getting Galdor's action to trigger for other players is tricky because it requires an empty hand, which is hard to achieve outside of a Noldor discard deck. The best, most fun way to do it goes like this (heard it on COTR podcast):

  1. Attach To the Sea, to the Sea! to Galdor.
  2. Pass Galdor using Desperate Alliance.
  3. That player uses To the Sea, to the Sea! to discard their entire hand (ideally 1-4 cards) to give a discount to the next Noldor ally played by anyone at the table.
  4. That player triggers Galdor's action to draw a new hand of 6 cards.
  5. You get to play a Noldor ally at a big discount (like Glorfindel!)

Song of Healing goes on Aragorn, which provides the double-benefit of keeping him alive to Sentinel defend, as well as helping other players empty their hands for Galdor’s ability.

Lastly, there are several cards included that will increase only YOUR threat, not other players’ threat, which are quite safe to use since you hold the reset button with Aragorn. (Magic Ring, Heirs of Earendil, and Gandalf). I only included one doomed event (Deep Knowledge) to play a little more conservatively, but if you want to be a bit more aggressive, see the doomed events in the sideboard.

Sideboard

The lore/spirit doomed events could work really well here if you want to count more on using Aragorn’s ability on everyone. The Leather Boots + Warden of Healing combo would be great to support the table. Lembas would be great for our Aragorn defender. A Test of Will...I’m just a little bored of it is all :).

Thanks for the suggestion! Would you cut anything to make room for them?

mithrandirs advice. 1 card and 1 res for 2 cards is not this good.
