ohuerc 462
ohuerc has a newer deck inspired by this one: Gondor's Riches
This was going to be an Eagle deck, to support Caldara with Landroval. Turns out that doesn't work, because "Discard" does not trigger "Is Destroyed." Oh well. Also, it was about 65 cards.
What's left is a three-color fighting deck using Sneak Attack and A Very Good Tale to get started quickly. A handful of my favorite combos reappear:
- Mablung plus DĂșnedain Hunter plus Wealth of Gondor
- Sneak Attack plus Gandalf of course, with A Very Good Tale added
- Beravor plus Henamarth Riversong plus Wingfoot
- Here's a new mix of old parts: Denethor plus Song of Wisdom plus A Burning Brand. (Oh, and Gondorian Shield and Behind Strong Walls from the old Mablung or Beregond combo)
So in short, a new combat combo to support a heavy questing deck. Beravor and Mablung are decent questers until the other deck gets set up, and are decent attackers to support the DĂșnedain Hunters and Legolas later.
