This deck was designed to support my Boromir-focused fighting Deck. It should provide willpower for questing, cancel-effects, some heal and threat reducing effects.
For questing we at first have some strong heroes in this regard with Éowyn and Glorfindel. Pippin was chosen to get access to the sphere and because of his low threat. His ability can be used if the partner deck has enough Sentinel and Ranged power. Furthermore we play some dedicated questing allies, such as Ethir Swordsman. Other allies should provide enough location control to reduce the problem of location locking, such as Northern Tracker and Mirkwood Explorer.
Threat can be reduced with various methods, Galadriel's Handmaiden and The Galadhrim's Greeting can directly reduce the threat of the partner deck. Using Song of Eärendil, we can take the additional threat from Boromir to this player and than reduce it with Elrond's Counsel and Island Amid Perils. It may be enough to even play Resourceful, if we dont have that on setup.
