this is a deck that cares about defense in multiplayer. if you ever had to much problems with to much enemys in multiplayer, consider this.
it goes from the start with 3 sentinel defenses + shadow cancelling each round and can up to pile to 6 defenses with shadow cancelling (Armored Destrier + 3 without cancel + Feint + Hold Your Ground!
playing campaign, consider replace grimbeorn with beregond.
this setup have also decent att-str. depending on the scenario, gives grimbeorn the ring and choose Inner Strength or Strength and Courage as starting attachment.
this deck should be helpful (multiplayer) at scenarios like:
- raid on the grey haven
- into ithilien
- battle at the pellenor
- black gate
- southern crossroad
- fortress of nurn (if playing weird playersetup-timing, consider Beregond instead of (MotK) Jubayr )

Aug 09, 2022the idea was, to have the maximum of sentinel defenses with shadocancelling. your version is also good, but have only 2 shadowcancel from the start and no gandal-sneak. but all in all i consider both versions are good. my 3-hunters-version is here: ringsdb.com |
If you want to get good defense quickly, I would replace (MotK) Jubayr with Beregond, add Thorongil, Forth, The Three Hunters!, more Raiment of War, Raven-winged Helm, and Behind Strong Walls. Dagger of Westernesse and Miruvor are unnecessary. Golden Belts could be added to make defense even stronger.
