This deck is so much fun to play. With the large amount of allies, Prince Imrahil and his 1 resource usually gets an ally out during the Combat Phase. With Frodo Baggins and Beregond, the threat can keep ticking lower and lower, and the Double Back and The Galadhrim's Greeting and Woodmen's Clearing cards help get into a safer threat area. The side quests help give Thalion all the spheres he'd need and even with the Delay the Enemy being a Battle quest, it's huge to be able to give Thalion that icon. I like keeping the DĂșnedain Pipe in there in case I get a Beorn in my hand that I'd like to send back into the deck. Every Combat Phase is a blast, seeing who may come out, and sometimes the Envoy of Pelargir and Ithilien Lookout and Knight of Belfalas have their "enter play" things.
To pay for the Guardian of Rivendell allies, I tend to discard the allies that I rarely pay for (since I'm using Frodo Baggins and his resource to keep bring threat down.
I hope you all have as much fun playing this deck, as I've had with it.

May 02, 2023Great idea! I think my gut reaction was that I like Prince Imrahil always having his 1 resource in his pool, but yeah you're right. Lower the attack of enemies and it's a better chance the Beregond response will work. |
Instead of Delay the Enemy why not Keep Watch? I found it's usually a decent side quest.
