This is one of my favorite hero lineups. I know there has been a demand for more decks built with revised content only, so here is a slight variation of one of my favorite decks to play.

Heroes:

Erestor: He is an absolute blast to play. Having 4 new cards each round allows for such variable every time you play the deck while also allowing you to accelerate your board State.

Denethor: He is really here to give Arwen Undómiel Steward of Gondor and the resource he gains each round, once she gains the gondor trait.

Arwen Undómiel: She is the main resource engine of the deck. With Steward of Gondor and her ability plus Denethor’s ability she can generate 5 resources a round. Which can be used on the many expensive cards in the deck or for Stand and Fight.

How to play:

Starting Hand:

The first round is very important since you start with 10 cards. The main thing you are looking for in your starting had is steward. If you have others ways to generate resources such as Captain's Wisdom and To the Sea, to the Sea! then that should be fine as well. Once you have To the Sea, to the Sea! and Steward of Gondor in play you should have no problem playing your hand each round.

Important Cards:

Glorfindel: Remember he can be played from your discard pile so don’t worry if you can’t pay for him right away but don’t forget that he is in your discard pile waiting to be play with all of those resources.

Lords of the Eldar: This card is mainly used for late game. Once your deck runs out you can play this card every round to give all of your many Noldor characters a massive stat boost. This card can also be very helpful mid game if you need a plow through a certain quest stage or nasty location.

Galdor of the Havens: Don’t forget about his ability! He can give you another card to play with after discarding for Arwen Undómiel’s ability or give you an extra card to start the round if you discarded at the end for Erestor’s forced effect.

Best of luck and happy questing!

After publishing I realized I would make one change. Remove one Errand-rider and add one Will of the West.

What about 1x Dwarven Tomb? I always found it helpful in case I get Will of the West in my opening hand. Also, if I don't need it for Will of the West, I can yank back one of my allies or something.

Love your #RCO decks! Keep them coming!

Have you considered adding one more Lords of the Eldar? I'm sure that Arwen will have a reasonable store of resources built up by the late game, and you might be able to play more than one each turn and that stat boost might be better than shuffling your discard back in.

@krautbammer That’s a pretty good idea! I haven’t tried that but feel like it could be beneficial. I would probably get rid of one Daeron's Runes for it.

@Torien I have not tried that but feel like it could work. Usually by the time the end game comes your board state is pretty set up so the Lords of the Eldar boost is really just icing on the cake but I will have to try it out.

@ahez20 I made a version which just capitalises on Lord of the Eldar and it's basically game ending when you can get multiple played in one turn.

@Torien Nice! Did you include 3 or 2 copies? I’ll have to try it out.

@ahez20 Three copies. It's not #RCO anymore though.
