my gloindeck
most important:
Citadel Plate and Golden Belt are only get on the table with Well-Equipped or Galadriel. in most cases you need Gildor Inglorions ability to make that happen.
**
strategy:**
if full equipped, gloin can take unlimited amount of damage if it does not reach his hitpoints in a single blow. if he survives he can heal for free with the Song of Healing+ Elven-lightcombo (he needs the Song of Travel for that) and in addition he draws for every damage/elvenlight. this combo was first discovered by seastan if i remember correctly.
until the full equipment, he needs support from Well Preserved and maybe Self Preservation.
mulligan:
- search for Citadel Plate + Well-Equipped/galadriel. you might keep a hand with Gandalf + Sneak Attack
- consider keep a hand with Love of Tales + 2-3 songs
little trickies:
- if no other enemy is there keep one engaged, so he can make damage every round
- Arwen Undómiel can give her ability-res to her or Gildor Inglorion
- the Rivendell Minstrel helps to get Glóin the right songs
- discard Glorfindel with Arwen Undómiel or Song of Healing you can pay him from discard
- give Unexpected Courage to Gildor Inglorion, his ability needs exhausting
- Rhovanion Outrider against locations or battle
- Knight of Dale in mid-late you mighthave enough money to use them twice in a round, perhaps 3 times if at 40+
- until full equipment of gloin, Gléowine and Master of the Forge helps to get your setup
- Keen as Lances helps with draw or threadreducing
finishing notes:
even with 10+ hp be cautious at very attacky enemys ike thaudir in card dum with 4+ shadowcards or the balrog in nightmare. consider at very battle-heavy szenarios Inner Strength in adddition to Well Preserved a full equipped Glóin is one of the rare if not only options to take many (unlimited count of) attacks (up to his hp) in the questphase.
