Wizenedstaff 30
The Eagles are Coming! Radagast and Arwen team up with Gwaihir and his faithful eagles to fight the darkness. In this build, I wanted to try to build with Gwaihir and see if I could make a tri-sphere deck work with Messenger of the King. Arwen does great work in boosting the defence of her fellow heroes or later Winged Guardian and other eagle defenders. Radagast's Staff is the key attachment to be sought in one's opening hand and dug for with Imladris Stargazer or Word of Command if necessary. One may need to build patiently here, waiting for cards like The Eagles Are Coming!, Gwaihir's Debt or Gandalf. Elrond's Counsel and The Galadhrim's Greeting buy one some time too. However, once you are up and running, this is a powerhouse! Arwen can be vulnerable, but A Test of Will, Light of Valinor and Unexpected Courage can be used on her where necessary, and Landroval is a life-saver too. Allies like Wilyador, Vassal of the Windlord and Winged Guardian synergise brilliantly with Gwaihir, especially in the mid- to late-game. The Lord of the Eagles is truly impressive when he has Support of the Eagles, particularly if Eagles of the Misty Mountains has been boosted a few times as well!
