Here, the second deck of a new adventure I imagined!

A solo Boromir deck versus cycle 3 Nightmare!

Subject : To defeat an entier cycle with an ultra thematic deck, in Nightmare mod, if able !

Deck : It s really simple, Boromir, very angry, decide to kill all creature in his way, to find his Bro, and go back to Minas Tirith ! His father is with him, finnaly, his wealth is with him ! ( Steward of Gondor) .

Sure, I play Boromir without errata !

Strategy : Use Gondorian Fire and Blood of Númenor to battle and siege quests, and to destroy everything that moves ! About normal quests, i have lot of possibilities: Trained for War, Grappling Hook, and Delay the Enemy !

almost All of other cards are drawcards or resource cards !

In game

Peril in Pelargir : None real problem here, maybe "Local trouble" in early game, because on Boromir it s raise my threat by 3 all readying action !

Into Ithilien : None real problem too, U just quickly need of a Gondorian Shield . Archery is dangerous, but I heal me by 3 every turn so...

The siege of Cair Andros : Defend a entire city alone is not a problem for Boromir ! Again Gondorian Shield was a searched card, like Sterner than Steel to cancel big shadows ! Very great game, i had explored 2 unique locations !

Steward' s fear : Delay the Enemy is in the deck especially for this quest ( and Assault on Osgilliath) because i can quest with battle and calculate to explore location and prolong side quest lot of rounds ! Obviously mulligan for that ! 4 absolute tutor : Dúnedain Message and Heed the Dream ! Random Plot was "Up in flames" (discard from top of the deck), so, tranquil with this deck !

The Druadan forest : The only one i played without Nightmare mod ! I tried it, but the text of step 3 of the quest punish me too much ! I needed of Mariner's Compass to reshuffle "garden of poisons" quickly, and Delay the Enemy to avoid location lock ... Too hard with few draw cards, so, if I need too a boost of 3 times to kill Dru Buri Dru... It s totally impossible !

The standard version was really easy ,but I had to use side deck : " Song of Travel to destroy Dru buri dru with Lay of Nimrodel !

Encounter at Amon Din : (I exchanged Taking Initiative with We Are Not Idle because Lord Alcaron) Definitely the hardest scenario of my adventure ! 7 attempts to beat it! I take a time to setup me, and this scenario not let me do ! 2 cards during quest phase is horrible, and the treachery "Trapped villagers" definitely finished me ! I won because a great starting hand with Steward of Gondor, Delay the Enemy, Gondorian Fire and Gondorian Shield ! I finished wit 13 rescued villagers and 11 dead villagers !

Assault on Osgiliath : Sure, mulligan for Delay the Enemy or tutor ! 3 attempts to beat it, because 2 times 8 and 10 rounds without to reveal a Locations ! This scenario is really bad. The only one danger with my deck was the treachery "Pinned down" during last rounds (Archery x where x is the number of location you control) .

The blood of Gondor : (I exchanged again Taking Initiative by We Are Not Idle because Lord Alcaron and Faramir). This scenario was probably the easier of my adventure ( "once is not customery" ;) ), The Cross-roads offfers me Siege T1 and until the end of the game (I explored it the last round) and the real danger of this scenario are the enemies, just with Blood of Númenor I solved problems !

The Morgul Vale : Second most difficult scenario of this adventure, because i needed quickly lot of quest power, ( Gondorian Fire), lot of defense (Gondorian Shield / Blood of Númenor ) and especially Delay the Enemy because the high s locations did to explode my threat ! 4 attempts to beat it ! and a nice using of Taking Initiative to ping Nazgul of Minas Morgul !

Conclusion A very cool adventure ! Almost all the cycle with Nightmare mod, and a big brainstorming during deck building and in-game !
