Overview: A Dunedain/Harad deck with fun decision making, and multiple readying effects so you get the most out of your heroes. Usually, with each of your heroes, you can pick two: 1) Quest 2) Combat 3) Peace, and Thought for 5 cards or 4) Beravor to draw 2 cards.

Kahliel gets Steward of Gondor, Kahliel's Headdress, Heir of Mardil so that you can use him to quest for 3 and then ready him up to fight in the combat phase with his 2 and 2 or prepare him for a nice reflection on Peace, and Thought. Sometimes you can get tons of actions out of Kahliel. You can quest with him, ready him with Heir of Mardil/Steward of Gondor and fight with him (boost him with Kahliel’s Tribesman). Discard a Harad ally to ready him again, shuffling that ally back into your hand with the headdress. Fight with him again, or use him for Peace, and Thought.

Beravor and Thurindir both get Dúnedain Pipe and Steed of the North so that they can get extra actions and dump your unwanted cards. Beravor can get you cards, and then you can ready her up with Greenwood Archer.

Mulligan For: Steward of Gondor, Captain's Wisdom. Your ideal hand would have both, so that you can play it on the first turn. Kahliel's Headdress would also be nice to see.

Attack: Yazan is your most notable attacker, dealing an effective 4 worth of damage. Your other characters are not slouches though, each hero starts with 2 and multiple ways to ensure they'll be ready for a fight: Wingfoot, Heir of Mardil, and Steed of the North.

Defense: Jubayr is your main defender, boost him with Kahliel’s Tribesman for extra tough enemies. 3x Kahliel’s Tribesman can make him defend for 6 . Ready him with Kahliel to get two blocks out of him as well.

Questing: Kahliel's Headdress can boost most of your allies, giving you a respectable amount of questing. Firyal alone quests for 4 when boosted. When you knock down a side quest and get the headdress on Kahliel, your heroes alone can quest for 8 , and will often do so and be ready to fight in the combat phase!

Resource Acceleration: Your resources are smoothed with the excellent The Storm Comes, fetched with Thurindir so you always have it. Steward of Gondor ensures you can play those great Harad allies every turn. Southron Refugee can decrease cost of these guys as well. Elf-stone can also sneak you in another of those big allies.

Card Draw: Beravor can be used most rounds and also participate in quest/combat with Steed of the North, Wingfoot or Greenwood Archer. Peace, and Thought can be used based on your board state at the end of combat.

Healing: Warden of Healing.

Threat Reduction: Gandalf/Sneak Attack

Shadow Cancellation: You want to block as often as you can with Jubayr so that you can discard shadow cards.

Treachery Cancellation: Halfling Bounder can be used on bad treacheries when you can't avoid them with Firyal.

Location Control: Avoid the worst locations with Firyal or pair with a deck that can handle locations.

Fellowship: A deck with some location control, some treachery handling and a strong early game is probably the best partner for you.
