Gondor for introducing a new player

An easy but fun to play mono tactics Gondor deck designed for new players plus a leadership / spirit Gondor deck for the advanced partner explaining the game.

Try to get Steward of Gondor and Gondorian Shield in your opening hands.

Use Lothíriel with Soldier of Gondor to pump out cheap Gondor allies which are buffed by Boromir and Visionary Leadership. You can also use Lothiriel with Squire of the Citadel or Envoy of Pelargir to gain resources. In any case, you can always quest with Prince Imrahil and ready him right after. In a pinch, you can even call Galadriel - you cannot use her ability, but she quests for three, which is nice. Get some cards afterwards with Valiant Sacrifice.

When casting Gandalf or Galadriel from hand or with Sneak Attack, they are nice targets for A Very Good Tale - especially when ou use them at the end of the refresh phase, before they leave play!

Tactic's play is pretty straight forward: Put Gondorian Shield, Spear of the Citadel and Raven-winged Helm on Beregond for no cost and let him defend like a behemoth; put some weapons on Bard the Bowman and let him kill things across the board. Both Ranged and Sentinel will give the new player a sense of the cooperative nature of the game. Hirgon provides some questing power and pseudo-resources, while providing a sense for the strategic use of reactions and the phases of the game. Other than that, get some more Gondor allies on the board to benefit from Boromir's boosts.
