Notes:

  • Snowmane or the Song of Travel in the opening hand are going to be a good start for this deck.
  • Gamling's response to get back:
  • Guthlaf will be useful even without Théoden's discount.
    • If the songs (or the storm) are not in play, we can still play him together with any non-unique ally within the same turn.
  • The Horse-breeder and Mustering the Rohirrim will find cards and thin our deck at the same time.
    • They are our best options while Gamling + Horn are not in play.
  • The Horse-breaker is great to ready Éomer or Éowyn for combat phase and use their boost multiple times.
    • Discard it before resolving Éomer's first attack. He will be ready and boosted for that attack and the next one.
    • Discard it after Éowyn's first +9 attack to attack once again (since her boost will remain until the end of the phase).
    • Théoden won't have any boost but can be readied to defend again or counter-attack.
  • Riddermark's Finest are great for location control, especially if Gamling is already in play. Their 2 is also great for this deck.
  • Westfold Lancers are versatile but they are mainly here for questing.
    • If we need to press the red button, we also have their response, boosting Éomer at the same time.
  • Discard Outriders after enemy attack resolution to engage another enemy bypassing the enemy attack step (and boosting Éomer as well).
  • Keep Watch is here because this deck doesn't have any healing option... at least we'll reduce some damage in combat.
  • The Storm Comes will be an alternative if we cannot find the songs.
