Alternate title 1 : “Caught Between a Nice Place and an Even Nicer Place”
Alternate title 2 : “Two Amazon Warriors and a Lucky Squire”
Concept: This is an almost-no-ally build with a nice role distribution.
Obviously, Arwen Undómiel is biased toward Aragorn. She moves resources to him to trigger Heir of Mardil, and she stands him through Tale of Tinúviel. But once Aragorn has Celebrían's Stone, it may be advantageous to reverse the roles and use Tale of Tinúviel to stand Arwen Undómiel. A double Tale of Tinúviel is also a possibility.
Speaking of role reversals : between Aragorn and Éowyn, Éowyn is actually the manlier of the 2. She is the one who wields Herugrim and destroys enemies. Remember to use Éowyn's discard ability and Elrond's Counsel to boost her attack. She also gets Firefoot, since Herugrim can rise to big attack numbers that would be wasted otherwise.
This is a team, so healing is done by passing Dúnedain Remedy around. Spare Hood and Cloak is also thrown in there, demonstrating that Arwen Undómiel can be the team-player by readying Éowyn, especially if she has Light of Valinor.
Deck structure: There are many willpower-boosting cards, and it's because willpower powers a lot of effects: from Ride Them Down to Tale of Tinúviel to Herugrim. Among them are sidequests such as Rally the West. Sidequests become profitable very quickly as the starting willpower (10 with Éowyn's action) to complete them is more than adequate.
The deck covers many areas of the game (threat reduction, location management, cancels), so 2 copies of Dwarven Tomb make it a bit more focused in the area most needed.
To remove condition attachments, Bulwark of the West is about perfect, as it can be used on our transient allies that are Galadriel and Gandalf.
Starting hand: Elven-light is arguably the most important card. It is an evergreen source for Arwen and Éowyn's discard effects. The second most important card is Herugrim because you can't destroy anything without it. Also look for interesting combinations, such as Captain's Wisdom and readying effects. The first Unexpected Courage should go on Éowyn if you have Herugrim.
