13nrv has a newer deck inspired by this one: Agressive deck series #1 - Outlands

Put outlands as a fast as possible with the ressource boost of Denethor and the draw capacity of Erestor.

Some event event was put to generate ressources (Gaining Strength, Wealth of Gondor). Some event (Daeron's Runes, Heed the Dream) to quickly grap important card like Steward of Gondor or A Very Good Tale. Ressource stabilisation (Errand-rider, A Good Harvest) to be able to play all outlands in hands especially the first turn (10 cards in hand with Erestor).

All these cards + Denethor bonus ressources allow to play all outlands in the first hand. Then each turn you play the entire hand and so quickly swarm outlands.

In first turn, i put easily 6 allies and sometimes 10 allies and then 2 allies per turn. The deck have no threat reduction and no cancel but the swarm is very quick. So we rush the quest and we see few treachery.

Flight from Stormcaller has been beaten two times at the second step in four round.

Prety much got the same deck ^^

It's fast 'n furious.

This deck si smart, strong and clean. As good for soloplay that for multiplayer. No Doomed player cards (Legacy of Númenor) is necessary here.

@Shep Told you Denethor 2 was strong with T.E ;)

But you always need the 13's Proof and the "Tested & Approved by 13 !" Label :D

Look like a "smart" version of outlands. I like it so far.

May 13, 2016 Lecitadin 205

Yep, this works pretty well, had 6 allies on the table the first turn!

This deck seems brutal, can't wait to try it out.

Yes, awesome

Have you thought about Herald of Anórien to play allies even faster?

Jun 06, 2016 13nrv 4445

Yes, but don't know which card choose to be replaced by Herald :)

Interesting. I just build it for test. I think Captain's Wisdom can be played (I try instead of 1 lembas, 1 wealth of gondor and 1 gaining strenght so I can got still test all of those card). I will play Legacy of Numenor in multiplayer because my partner will have a lot of way to reduce my threat.

@Rouxxor I have just published a new version with Captain's Wisdom :)

Very efficient deck with a strong result :

Battle of the five armies Nightmare Solo : 61 ! Finished in the fourth turn !

Wanted to test this out, so I gave it a go with Journey Along the Anduin. Four rounds only because I was learning the deck. Drew a second hill troll Round 3 and laughed watching my army take him down. Never played outlands before and it was fun to feel like I have a chance at this game!

Very fun deck, tried it on Nightmare Journey Along the Anduin. First time fail due to Pursued by Shadow raising my threat by 19! Stomped it second time though. Thanks for the build.

I tried this the other day against Conflict at the Carrock solo, and was amazed at how fast this deck sets up. I feel like it's a great deck to show newer players some of the advanced mechanics of the game, although I found after a few plays that the deck pretty quickly goes into auto-pilot mode, meaning that once you've swarmed all your allies, most scenarios are automatic wins. Very fun deck for the fast pace playing, but once I played it a few times, I felt like I knew everything about it and the game lost it's challenge.
