WastelandSniper 25

This deck is all about Haldir of Lórien. His ability to hit the staging area as long as you haven't engaged an enemy that turn can really take care of some problems before they become bigger problems. This current version of the deck is a far cry from where it started out, but it has definitely improved its performance. Added Golden Belt and took out Spear of the Citadel. It will change again when the next set releases with the Stone of Elostirion.

Song of Battle is absolutely crucial to make this deck work, so you want to get it out on each hero as quickly as you possibly can.

Forth, The Three Hunters! and Golden Belt give you the ability to really pump Haldir up with Bow of the Galadhrim, Legacy Blade/Glamdring, War Axe, and the Rohan Warhorse. For Argalad, attach Golden Belt, Great Yew Bow, Legacy Blade/Glamdring, War Axe, and Rohan Warhorse and you'll have two ranged heavy hitters who can each do unique work in the staging area.

Thurindir is mostly in here for his setup ability (pull Gather Information first), but it's nice to have at least some questing power in this deck. Give him the Necklace of Girion to help with questing and resource acceleration. Give him Keen Longbow and Legacy Blade as the two restricted attachments you need on him to help trigger the flip for Forth, The Three Hunters!. He's not really meant to do more than quest, but he'll do as a ranged character when you need to help out a friend. I want to put Stone of Elostirion on him when that comes out in the next pack.

Dúnedain Pipe, Foe-hammer, and Mithrandir's Advice should help you start working through your deck to find the cards you need. Scroll of Isildur will let you play the Lore events from out of the discard pile. And if you find yourself needing access to Tactics events like Hands Upon the Bow or Swift and Strong but the only ones you have are in the discard pile, use Bartering to switch a Scroll for a Book of Eldacar to pull whichever one you need from the discard pile on the cheap. I'm still trying to figure out the best ratio of these, but it's definitely a handy little mechanic in a pinch.

If you can get everything set up right, you can attack with Haldir of Lórien up to SIX times in one round, each time for 12-14 damage. You could also use a lot of that readying for Argalad and get almost the same numbers.

In this updated version I removed Advance Warning and Arrows from the Trees because I found I just wasn't getting the use out of them I wanted. Instead, I put in Far-sighted to help mitigate the uncertainty inherent in Leather Boots.
