This deck is using 3 heroes that have four in a different starting stat each,Beregond with 4 defense, Éowyn with 4 willpower and Saruman with four attack. This makes this deck a powerhouse in the early game, and Beregond can counter the threat raise of Sarumans doomed Cards. Just with your heroes you can quest for 7, defend safely with Beregond and attack for 14 if you trigger Eowyn and Play a doomed Card on turn 1.
Mulligan for Saruman's Staff or Word of Command to grab it immediately. With it's help you can get Card draw and Ressource engine of Deep Knowledge/Legacy of Númenor/The Seeing-stone going without having to raise your threat by to much.
The rest of the deck then plays pretty straightforward and can cover whatever you need. Getting more willpower or attack strength from allies, using Gondorian Shield and Unexpected Courage to turn Beregond in an uber-defender, using Far-sighted for scrying or Warden of Healing for healing.
This deck is really strong in solo but giving the doomed Card bonuses and a sentinel defender to the entire table makes this also fit well in multiplayer, altough you might have to drop some unique allies.
The Sideboard contains Ethir Swordsman for Sailor of Lune for quests that have no direct damage effects, Hasty Stroke for bad shadows and Power of Orthanc for condition removal.
