This deck was built to support another Dwarf deck through the OHaUH scenarios and also to earn the Treasures. For the full list of scenarios played by this deck see the fellowship description.
This deck was built with cards from the first 2 full cycles, HoN, EaAD, TMV, the first 4 LotR sagas and OHaUH.
Strategy
I like to see Steward of Gondor in the opening hand, but A Test of Will, Fili, Unexpected Courage and Sneak Attack+Gandalf are also great to start with.
Thorin is the primary quester, and Arwen Undómiel, Longbeard Elders and Zigil Miners usually quest.
Ever My Heart Rises is great for Thorin Oakenshield and possibly Ori from the other deck. I usually put Unexpected Courage on Dáin Ironfoot, but it can be useful on Gimli in the other deck. Cram is usually for Dáin Ironfoot in case he needs to ready but can be useful on any hero. Steward of Gondor is usually put on Dwalin, who can then pass a resource to Bifur most rounds. Early on a resource from this deck will often be passed to Bifur if there is no vital card to play or save for.
Dwalin is the main attacker, and he gets any spare Dwarrowdelf Axes from the other deck. His threat reduction was really useful for most of the scenarios I've played with the deck.
Changes
The sideboard contains cards that I used for some scenarios. I used Imladris Stargazer for Dungeons Deep and Caverns Dim to know when to use Bilbo's resources to continue discarding in riddles. I also had Snowbourn Scout and Durin's Song instead or Ever My Heart Rises for the OHaUH scenarios. I was a bit disappointed that there are no Underground locations, only Cave locations.
After playing this deck a bit I also am not sure if Thorin Oakenshield is worth using in this deck, I might be better off using Glóin as in some games I never get 5 Dwarves and regret having such a high starting threat.
