I really enjoy Forth, The Three Hunters!, but one major potential weakness of the (typical) deck is that it struggles with location control. In this deck, Aragorn makes up for that.
With base 2, Aragorn can not target a decent number of locations with his ability. In this deck, he can target pretty much everything. In his final form, Aragorn typically picks up a Golden Belt, Silver Circlet, and a couple weapons like Dagger of Westernesse. This means he will end up with around 8 . He also gets most of the Unexpected Couragein the deck allowing him to quest, use his ability, and attack/defend.
Arwen Undómiel picks up a similar build with Steed of Imladris, Silver Circlet, Light of Valinor, and some restricted attachments. She should end up with 7-8. She should also be ready in order to trigger Tale of Tinúviel on Aragorn.
Eowyn picks up Golden Shield, Snowmane, and some defensive attachments like Gondorian Shield or Round Shield. She should also end up questing for 7-8 and defending for 8-9 when triggering Golden Shield.
With the combination of Aragorn, Arod, and Steed of Imladris, locations really aren't a problem for this deck.
This deck is not the best at flipping the contract on the first turn, so mulligan for card draw. Elven light is extremely helpful.
Including The One Ring helps to speed up flipping the contract. It also helps when dealing with enemies by boosting Aragorn's .

Oct 09, 2020I came here to say two things:
|
Oct 09, 2020It is actually pretty flexible. I used it once to get Aragorn to essentially let Aragorn get an extra ready. Once I used it for Aragorn in order to drop my threat way down. Éowyn could be good in multi-player, but there is enough willpower at the table that it isn't really needed in solo. Aragorn could be a great choice if enemies are out of hand. |
how thematic, eowyn must fight her ass of while arwen sit at home and tell tales of tinuviel ^^
