is it posible play the high-end Gandalf-Elrond-combo as Forth, The Three Hunters!?

this is my try.

to compensate

• mainflaw, you cannot include Messenger of the King, so no starting with Bilbo Baggins and therfore Wizard Pipe. no (cheating in solo ;) ) (MotK) Firyal for good questing and easy staging or start with thread below 30 with (MotK) Ioreth or (MotK) Galion
• no cheap including of all the good allies
• no chumping

benefit

• discount for restricted until flipping
• free healing, when flipped

so my decision is Beregond, i considered Beregond but there are so few restircted in spirit, and i want to play restricted from the start, so the tacticversion seems better in this special case.

it will not be a fast flipping, but flipp in round 3 is o.k. it will spare up to 6 res until then.

can it handle, what the other versions of that combo can handle?

i think it can:

• quest for 6 from the start can build up to 21 during the game (+Elrond's Counsel
• good defense from the start
• will soon have multiple actions with Unexpected Courage Shadowfax Light of Valinorand Armored Destrier
• Gandalf and Elrond will build a decent atack with weapons and for the boss there is Flame of Anor
• Keen as Lances played with Vilya is not good for its flexibility, it can also be used for a good Flame of Anor
• enough threadreducing with 3 Keen as Lances 3 Elrond's Counsel and Double Back

you will play/draw 3-5 cards per round ( 1 regulary, 1 with gandalf in planning, 1 with Vilya and 1+ events from the top within the round 1 with Gandalf's Staff

• Thorongil on Beregond, helps further threadreducing, not only for you

mulligan

i would keep a hand with Vilya or the Gandalf's Staff

recommended

• for all quests except nurn and dol guldur nightmare (but perhaps with beregond captured there is a chance)
• in multiplayer, consider replace Keen as Lances with The Galadhrim's Greeting
