The deck was taken against the quest The Ghost of Framsburg as a part of Second Breakfast challenge, and the attributes are Spirit, Council of the Wise and Mount.

Hero line-up: Since this can be a bit lenghty quest, I thought some threat reduction would be good so I decided to include Beregond as he is a good defender, and his ability is threat reduction. For the same reason, I decided to play Merry for the very first time in my decks. And since I thought I will need some decent willpower, I decided to play Círdan the Shipwright.

Card choices and pairing explanations: I decided to include Wild Stallion because he can be used as Mount attachment, so with Windfola, Hobbit Pony and Steed of Imladris I have at least 4 mounts in the deck.

Mithril Shirt is interestingly enough a really good card in this quest since you want to find loot, so as long as you can handle the location just find, it can help you get another location in play to help the find the elusive loot!

Magic Ring I decided to add since Spirit has no healing, and I wanted to stick to Spirit or Neutral cards to follow the atribute. Also this deck has plenty of ways to handle the threat if need be! Generally speaking, it goes on Beregond.

I thought Glorfindel and Steed of Imladris would go well with the Elven-light since you want Elven-light in the discard and then you have good and steady card draw.

The The Seeing-stone is really there to help fish out the Power of Orthanc if need be, there is a nasty conditional attachment which reduces your hero's willpower to zero. Plus it triggers the contract! Dwarven Tomb is there for the very same reason, to either get back that or A Test of Will.

Fair and Perilous actually really works well with Círdan the Shipwright! With his high will power, he can attack for 6 and I thought that really helped at times, especially if you go against Fram!

A good opening hand would be some cheaper ally (Arwen Undómiel is amazing), Light of Valinor or Unexpected Courage and even Miruvor works well. Worst case scenario, the card draw is ensured directly in the hero lineup.

Looks like a fun deck. I really need to have a crack at building a Council of the Wise deck some time. Well Warned looks like a dead card unfortunately (no unique Scout).

@Marctimmins89 you are right! I forgot to remove it, my bad, I just tend to discard it to Glorfindel or Steed of Imladris or just Círdan the Shipwright. Thanks for reminding me to remove it in next version :-)

Best thing about Noldor is they can turn dead cards into something useful. Seeing your decklist made me realise how many useful events a Spirit Council of the Wise deck has access to.

@Marctimmins89 Exactly! And since one of my most favourite heroes is Erestor... I am well used to thinking how to get some use out of a dead card, which is likely why I likely did not notice. I just used it for something without playing it. And I am glad, looking at decklists, it is useful to see other people ideas. And the Second Breakfast challenges are making me think outside of the normal ideas. Plus I like to try hero combinations never tried before.

Where do you find the Second Breakfast challenges? I've heard of them before but never participated.
