Pure Series:
This is a series of about 10 decks that I made that don’t share any cards with each other. Meaning I can only use Steward of Gondor in one of my 10 decks. This forces me to use different methods of card draw and resource generation.
I have every expansion, but only 1 core set :(
I do include different cards of the same unique character in different decks. (Ex. Haldir of Lórien hero in my Scout deck and Haldir of Lórien ally in my Silvan deck.)
Outlands Deck:
Build an army of allies, and destroy!
Allies:
All the Outlands allies are worth playing. Knights of the Swan and Anfalas Herdsman are probably the best Outlands allies because of their low cost and non-leadership sphere (for Lord of Morthond).
Rivendell Scout and Dúnedain Wanderer are both great if you are still at secrecy level.
Card Draw:
Lord of Morthond is essential to help your card draw, that combined with Hunter of Lamedon helps you get a variety of Outlands allies to play.
Alternate sources of card draw are Men of the West, Timely Aid, and Taking Initiative. Taking Initiative has a much higher chance of hitting if you get it in your opening hand (because most Outland allies are 2 costing or less).
Resources:
Resourceful and Théodred both provide extra resources for Hirluin the Fair to spend on Outlands allies. You shouldn’t have much of a problem spending resources from Théodred’s resource pool, but just in case I’ve included Parting Gifts to transfer his resources over to Hirluin the Fair.
This deck can’t defend or attack much until you get out a lot of Outlands allies. Luckily you probably won’t engage many enemies because of your low threat.
Opening Hand:
In your opening hand you typically want to see…
If you get both you will have card draw and resources covered.
