This is my Hobbit Fellowship deck adapted to play saga scenarios.

I removed Frodo Baggins, The One Ring, and the 4 copies of the master cards (Inner Strength + The Master Ring x3).

In replacement, I added Fatty Bolger as the hero. His ability is pretty terrible, but we need his defense stats ( + ). Furthermore, our initial threat level will remain the same with him.

Next, I filled the 5 gaps on player cards with Ring Mail x2 + Frodo's Intuition x3.

With two Ring Mails, Fatty's stats will go to 4 / 5 . Additionally, the contract boost + Rosie's action will put him in 8 .

Without Inner Strength we are losing some shadow cancellation advantage, but it will still be possible with Gandalf's Staff.

Finally, the encounter cancellation we lost with The Master Ring will now be provided by Frodo. And now we can get 3 cards and +4 for just two resources!

With the insane amount of card-draw we have here, it won't be that rare to play about 2 hobbits per round and flip the contract by round 3.

Notes:

Sideboard:

  • Since Gaffer Gamgee's ability goes against the conditions of the contract, it could be removed to make space for a better card. Narya maybe?
  • Tom Bombadillo! could be an interesting choice for this deck...
    • If Fellowship is on Side A: Tom Bombadil will be another controlled unique character. Once revealed, he potentially could flip the contract over for the rest of the round.
    • If Fellowship is on Side B: since he was never played (you just gain control of him when revealed), he can be used as a 10th unique character for the rest of the round (contract's +1s also affect him).
