A different type of deck compared to my other Outlands deck, this one uses The Grey Wanderer with Hirluin the Fair being your only hero. It is as lot slower than my other Outlands deck and generally quite a bit weaker. It can still hold its own very comfortably against most quests however (due to Outlands being probably the most powerful trait-based archetype in the game). It is fairly straight-forward, with Outlands and Secrecy cards making up most of the deck.
How To Play
The attachment you usually want to grab with the contract is Lord of Morthond. The One Ring gets you Inner Strength most often, I do sometimes go for The Master Ring though, for example if there is a specific card that could screw you over in the encounter deck. In my opening hand, I normally look for tools that enable a quick swarm (like Steward of Gondor, Timely Aid, Resourceful or A Very Good Tale). Seeing an Ethir Swordsman early, especially in solo, is also often the key to victory. The deck really plays itself from then on.
Considerations
In higher player counts, Campfire Tales and Man the Walls become very good cards. In 3/4-player-games, they should be brought in (I would probably remove the third Resourceful, the second copy of Master Ring and some non-Outlands allies depending on the quest).
Enjoy!!!
