Premise
Dúnedain is a tricky archetype to build for, even more so with only RCO player cards. This is the attempt I felt most satisfied by, combining them with the trap synergy around Damrod. Especially Forest Snare is a great fit here, fueling all your Dúnedain synergies while preventing any attacks. Beregond and Amarthiúl are your primary defenders who allow for a quite a few enemies to be engaged from the get go. The defense boosting of Gondorian Shield/Hauberk of Mail and the action advantage of Armored Destrier, Unexpected Courage, Outmatched and Magic Ring makes for quite a defensive wall that will be hard to get through for even the sturdiest enemies.
How To Play
Defining a good opening hand here is quite tricky. I like a hand that allows me to handle a few enemies comfortably in the foreseeable future and good tools for that are usually traps (especially Forest Snare) and action advantage. Resource acceleration (like Heir of Valandil or Steward of Gondor) is always helpful as well. After playing this deck a few times, you should get a decent idea yourself about what works and what doesn't.
Considerations
Northern Tracker and Warden of Annúminas are great includes if the other players have insufficient tools concerning locations or willpower. You are not able to provide any, so if the whole table suffers too much as a result, they are certainly worth a look. Hasty Stroke and Sterner than Steel are valuable if you are facing a quest with particularly annoying shadow effects. Descendants of Kings is very fun here and usually the card I turn to in the case of any uniqueness conflicts.
