Premise

This is for the most part very similar (in terms of mechanics and power) to my multiplayer Dúnedain deck with the added twist that it runs the trap synergy around Damrod for some further ways of keeping enemies engaged with you. It is a deck geared almost entirely for combat and enemy management (which it is very good at), with you having to leave questing for the most part to other players. Having lots of Sentinel characters as well as Fornost Bowman allows you to handle combat across the board as well, however you always prefer having enemies engaged with you of course.

How To Play

You normally want to be the first player in the first round since that allows you to engage the maximum number of enemies possible. In my opening hand, I usually look for readying attachments as well as Legacy of Númenor/The Seeing-stone. If you start with an enemy engaged with you, seeing resource acceleration in addition to Forest Snare is also a very good start. You usually want your Unexpected Courages and your first Armored Destrier on Beregond, as well as your defense-boosting attachments. Silver Lamp is very helpful to defend safely, the Bowmen are useful to ensure that you are not overrun by enemies (having 4-5 engaged with you is usually enough).

Considerations

Northern Tracker and Warden of Annúminas can be subbed in of course to help with questing, however in most cases I prefer to specialize in enemy management and leave the questing side of things to the other players. If nobody else is running Steward of Gondor, it is of course also very helpful but even if I include it, I hardly ever play it on myself since there is quite a bit of resource acceleration available to you between Legacy, Magic Ring, Heir of Valandil and Amarthiúl. Horns! Horns! Horns! can further add consistency alongside Gandalf and Sarn Ford Sentry. Double Back ist not that needed for yourself (since you run Beregond and Gandalf), if other players need it (especially considering your initial Dommed kickstarter), I would recommend including it for sure though.

Enjoy!!!
