Premise
This is an Idraen deck which therefore means it is built around the continued exploration of locations. With Inner Strength on Idraen, readying her becomes stronger than ever (especially if you add cards like Tale of Tinúviel into the equation). To trigger her ability, you run a myriad of location control cards like Rhovanion Outrider, Northern Tracker, Asfaloth, Strider's Path or Expert Trackers. Messenger of the King Firyal helps you to see those locations on a regular basis as well (since she can sift through the encounter deck, discarding other card types). Cards like Stone of Elostirion or Mithril Shirt provide further fodder for potential readies.
How To Play
I often end up mulliganing for Light of Valinor or card draw to get your engine going (like Peace, and Thought, which is far less of a tempo hit with Idraen being constantly readied, especially in multiplayer). Resource acceleration is by far the biggest weakness of the deck so seeing Magic Ring/Gather Information really helps you and are almost cards I keep, especially in solo where you cannot rely on other players to support you with resources. From there on, you use Firyal aggressively to see as many locations as possible with your spirit heroes being great questers and very good fighters to boot.
Considerations
The Riddermark's Finest provides further (very useful) point and click progress placing, however it is just too costly for this deck (unless you have other players at the table who are able to help you out with resources). Ancient Mathom is not as needed for you with cards like Peace, and Thought or Deep Knowledge already in the deck, however I do quite like it in multiplayer (especially if you don't want to run Deep Knowledge for the Doomed). Unexpected Courage and Quick Ears are two other cards I like to include in higher player counts now and then, The Hidden Way in contrast is pretty good in whatever game mode I find, however it is again (like Riddermark's Finest) a card that proved a little too costly without any resource support from other players.
Enjoy!!!
