Here's a deck idea I've had using Idraen and Glorfindel. It's nothing to crazy, Mirlonde is my 3rd giving me a lower starting threat with (29). Idraen gives Glorfindel LoV, and he breaks locations with Asfaloth. Lots of Lore card draw and Spirit threat reduction. Once the action advantage is set up and you have Treebeard or Wandering Ents out for defenders, Idraen and Glorfy attacking together squashes most enemies. I dont try to engage to often, I think this deck is more about sneaking past enemies than pulling everyone you can for combat. There's somethings I'll drop/add/change once I get my copy of the Steward's Fear. I try not to build decks with cards I don't physically own. I'll open to advice, I look forward to it really. Resource generation is weak, Im reliant on Resourceful for extra cashand Elf-stone to cheat in Gandalf, Northern Tracker, and Treebeard. Im debating on using Gildor Inglorion also. Its his ability vs Treebeard's stats.

Jul 04, 2017I agree with Resourceful usefulness. If I hit a lucky draw and ended up in secrecy early perhaps. I hadn't thought of using Steward of Gondor with A Good Harvest. I thought of the old Zigil Miner/Imladris Stargazer but thought it might be counter-intuitive. Don't know how I slipped on Master of the Forge. Love your videos, been watching for awhile now. |
In a deck where you have the potential to get out Asfaloth turn 1 if it's in your opening hand, I would suggest having 3 copies.
I'd also suggest Master of the Forge for card draw, perhaps over Mithrandir's Advice.
I think that Resourceful is going to be too slow to recoup its cost here, but I don't have many other recommendations for resource generation other than just including Steward of Gondor and playing it with your A Good Harvest.
