This deck is for a fellowship centered around direct damage, the other deck being a mono-Tactics deck featuring Théoden/Dori/Thalin.
The dream is to set up mining with Imladris Stargazer for Zigil Miner or King Under the Mountain. In my opening hand I'm looking for Zigil or Imladris or Steward of Gondor, though playing any of those on turn one requires Unlikely Friendship to be there as well. (You used to be able to get to two with the Erebor Record Keeper combo with We Are Not Idle, but sadly no more). Heed the Dream or Gather Information are good to see.
The sideboard has the usual healing/shadow/threat cards, plus Hands Upon the Bow for quests with higher HP foes.
Óin quests while Dain Ironfoot remains upright and often defends (he is the target for Armored Destrier. Dúnedain Mark always goes on Argalad. He stays in reserve for an enemy to show up in staging, then reduces his threat and damages it again unless you know he'll be needed for combat.
