"Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas any more!"-- Dorothy Gale, The Wizard of Oz

Dorothy didn't know where she was, but the tornado definitely took her and Toto to some new place. Unfortunately, when her home landed, it crushed the Wicked Witch of the East. The Munchkins were overjoyed, but the party was crashed by the Wicked Witch of the West. She was after her sister's powerful Ring, and then nothing could stop her from taking over the Land of Oz. Before she could grab it, Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, placed it on Dorothy's finger. The Wicked Witch flew off in a rage, vowing to get her, and her little dog too!

The Good Witch advised Dorothy to follow the Yellow Brick Road to the powerful Wizard of Oz. Off she went, Toto at her side. Soon, they came across a helpful Scarecrow. He was miserable at scaring away birds; indeed, they seemed rather attracted to him. When he heard that Dorothy was going to the Emerald City, he joined her, hoping to receive a brain from the Wizard.

Soon the trio came across a frozen Tin Woodman. After oiling him up, he too revealed he sought the Wizard, hoping to receive a heart. Off they went, entering thick woods filled with dangerous creatures. A terrible beast attacked, but shortly revealed himself to be just a Cowardly Bear. Taking pity on him, Dorothy invited him to join them. Off they went down the Yellow Brick Road, singing as they went.

Presently they came to the Emerald City, where they were cleaned and fed by the people of that place. Securing the audience with the Wizard was hard, and the task he set was harder: to recover the broom of the Wicked Witch.

They had an adventure getting there, with Dorothy captured at one point. Her friends came to get her out, and they ran through the Witch's lair. All was nearly lost when Dorothy threw water on the Scarecrow to put out a fire, accidentally getting the Wicked Witch, who promptly melted away. Returning to the Wizard of Oz, they learned that they power they sought was within them all along. From the odd man masquerading as the Wizard of Oz, she learned that the Ring had the power to return her home. With a few twists, she was back home in Kansas, and her adventures ended.

"There's no place like home...there's no place like home..."--Dorothy Gale, The Wizard of Oz

Love it! I could see Saruman as the wizard of oz :) or maybe more appropriately the wicked witch of the west wanting the ring!

Very well done deck. Enough opportunities to ready and interesting choices when piloting.
