sanunes 207

sanunes has a newer deck inspired by this one: Sam's Roheryn's Fire 2.0 [Solo Power Deck]

This deck started as: https://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/5290/codus-roheryn-s-fire-1.0, but a lot of changes have been made.

Intro

If you play mostly solo (one-handed), want to have some fun and don't mind having some [probably] OP combos, here is a good option for you. I'm still testing some variations, but this deck has consistently and successfully beaten some very hard quests so far.

Overview

It relies on the Gondorian Fire + Roheryn combo where you can optionally engage enemies and kill them in one blow before the combat phase. With a lot of card draw and resource manipulation/acceleration, you are usually setup on round 3. I usually look for Steward of Gondor on my opening hand, but there are many other ways to get the cards you need, so usually starting hand is not an issue.

Aragorn is the main Hero here. With his attachments + song of travel, he should have all 4 spheres mid-game and plenty resources to spend/attack. Most allies are cheap and you can boost their willpower when you find Sword that was Broken. Threat management is also handled by Aragorn's "reset button".

Sideboard

I added a bunch of cards on the sideboard that can help boost a specific aspect of the game and that have a good synergy with the deck. If you lack some of the cards, you should still be able to swap them and make it work (if you maintain the essential combos).

Attachments and roles

1) Aragorn

Main role: Attacker ("The Destroyer")

Attachments:

2) Denethor

Main Role: Defender

Attachments:

3) Arwen Undómiel

Main Role: Quester

Hope you have fun!

You could consider adding a Dúnedain Pipe (perhaps with a copy of Bilbo Baggins to help fetch it, so you can use extra copies of uniques as a source of card draw.

Thanks @Raiderjakk.

`@Alonewolf87. I believe I'll remove two Deep Knowledge and add another Heed the Dream and Dúnedain Pipe. I feel the deck will be even more efficient. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Why Song of Travel and not Celebrian's Stone?

@styro. Celebrían's Stone is restricted and there’s no need for more will power on the deck. Usually on turn 5 I’m questing for 12-15. I’d rather have both Sword of Númenor so Aragorn can start killing some enemies as soon as you attach his horse.
