I wasn't a big fan of using fan-made cards in my decks, even though A Long Expected Party cards are fantastic and were a true labor of love by the community. However, once I saw Andúril, I really had to adjust my favorite two hero deck to include it.

Here is my original deck without the ALeP cards: https://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/21542/fellowshipat99strength-1.0

The biggest difference here is that I am trying to get Aragorn his blade because it tackles his biggest issue in this deck -- readying. The original deck strove for a balance between boosting him up (Dagger of Westernesse, Raiment of War, War Axe) and readying (Steed of the North, Rohan Warhorse) all in three restricted slots (or a fourth if you can find Golden Belt).

Anduril takes care of both -- a fantastic boost, and a ready, and even a resource smooth with leadership. It's worth it's weight, especially with a Forth, The Three Hunters! discount on the A side.

The only problem is getting him an additional trait that makes sense. In Service of the Steward and Diligent Noble are the only in-sphere attachments that can add to Aragorn (since Doughty Ranger and Mighty Warrior don't add anything). There's always Steward of Gondor which costs a little more but certainly would pay for itself, especially dual sphere Aragorn. In the end, however, I went with Elf-friend with the thought that I can burn Folco Boffin's money in the first round and then toss him. Also, the other trait adding cards from Blood in the Isen target allies or are out of sphere (Estel would definitely be a tempting card if it wasn't so finicky to play in this deck).

I also added A Fair Exchange so that we could swap Anduril or Strider for each other or even Red Book of Westmarch or Sting. I trimmed other copies to smooth out the cards back to 50.

What do you think? Have I made the deck too finicky now?

Having Aragorn be at high makes Roheryn seem like an auto include. I would cut Drinking Song and possibly Song of Wisdom. Since you have such a low threat and don't use secrecy, Legacy of Númenor could make for a great turn 1.
