Two things:

  1. I don't own the entire cardpool so there are some great cards I couldn't include here (like Westfold Lancer). Hirgon would probably be better fit than Mablung, especially because of his slightly lower threat cost and printed Gondor AND Scout traits (the latter would allow you to play Well Warned), but Mablung paired with Song of Travel will do just fine.

  2. You don't need Hail of Stones in order for the engine of this deck to work so this is the first card that you could swap for any two cards from the sideboard. I really like this card, but it's the first thing to cut should you need to do so. If you want to play more conservatively, Honour Guard could be a great replacement - you don't have any healing here, so damage prevention could be a good idea. If you think threat is an issue, include another Gandalf and/or The Galadhrim's Greeting. If you want to defend with Denethor more often, include Armored Destrier and maybe the third Gondorian Shield. Basically, you may swap Hail of Stones for any two cards from the sideboard, depending on your needs/preferences.

STRATEGY

There are three most important cards in this deck: Gúthwinë, Song of Travel and Snowmane. Mulligan for Gúthwinë and/or Song of Travel. Once you play Gúthwinë on Théoden you'll be able to make all the fun shenanigans focused on recycling allies from your discard pile and playing them every round. Gamling will help you support this strategy.

Once you play Song of Travel on Mablung you'll never have any issues with playing any cards. Denethor will give him extra resources whenever needed. Théoden's cost reduction works wonders in a multi-sphere deck like this.

A Very Good Tale will help you build your board state more quicky. What's cool about it is that any leftover allies could be fetched with Gúthwinë later on.

Westfold Outrider can be discarded in any phase, keep this in mind as it can allow Mablung to collect resources outside the standard engagement phase.

This is not the most powerful deck out there by any means, but I just love making all those combos. When you play a dwarf swarm deck, usually those dwarf allies are just cards with stats. Here you have all the cool active abilities to experiment with.

Have fun! ;)
