PablOvi 484
PablOvi has a newer deck inspired by this one: Green Bearers
Heroes:
- Haldir of Lórien
- (MotK) Henamarth Riversong
- Sméagol
- "Our only wish to catch a fish, so juicy sweet."
Notes:
- Resourceful should be played at least twice before loosing secrecy. Several cards can be used on this regard:
- Heed the Dream
- Daeron's Runes
- Gléowine
- Gildor Inglorion
- Haleth's response
- While Firyal is not in play, Stinker can be avoided with Henamarth + Risk Some Light.
- Gildor Inglorion is our main target for the Burning Brand and the Cloak of Lórien.
- Having Henamarth scrying on each round at the next encounter card, makes Wingfoot the Haldir's own Light of Valinor.
- The Entangling Nets' reduction does help Haldir for killing enemies in the staging area.
- Use resources from Treebeard to prepare him (this can be done multiple times per phase).
How to "safety" play Glamdring:
- Do NOT play Faramir (*) if Glamdring has not been found.
- Once Faramir + Glamdring are in hand:
- Use scrying and wait for the next non-unique enemy in the encounter deck.
- Risk Some Light can be useful for choosing the enemy by convenience.
- Play Glamdring. Target enemy will be revealed as Glamdring's guardian.
- Play Faramir. Target enemy will be engaged and it will receive 4 damage (since it has an attachment on it).
- Glamdring is now free to be claimed.
(*) A similar strategy can be applied (in combat phase) using The Great Hunt instead of Faramir.
- With the hunt keep in mind that you will need to deal with enemy's until reaching the combat phase.
Improvements:
- Mithrandir's Advice is slightly better than Daeron's Runes in this deck. If it is in your collection, swap them.
- Vanish from Sight could be useful when Stinker cannot be avoided and we have Resourceful or Risk Some Light still in hand.
to much efford for my taste to only get Glamdring into play. would rather use Ranger Spear (2 of them is +2 if enemy has a trap +4)
to find them, Open the Armory can help
