I updated this deck with a few cards coming from the next two releases we would expect this year (Ered Mithrin + The Return of the King). Those cards are Elladan, Elrohir, and the Bow of Yew.
This new iteration is a bit cheaper and it feels more consistent than the previous one.
Heroes:
Notes:
- Mulligan for Nenya (if you need questing hard) or Unexpected Courage (if you expect a nasty enemy).
- Use Arwen Undómiel + Elf-friend to fuel Na'asiyah's action.
- After a few turns, she will be our main attacker/defender.
- 3rd Silver Harp may be played on Galadriel.
- 3rd Bow of Yew on Glorfindel or Veteran Sword-elf.
- Stand and Fight is the only way to play Veteran Sword-elf.
- The allies can also be played with Nenya.
- The Silver Harps can bee seen as Glorfindel's own Unexpected Courages.
- We can ready him up to 3 times per round (once per phase) with just one single card in hand.
- Note that with 2 Bows on Na'asiyah, you will be able to play two Foe-hammers by killing just one enemy.
- On the other hand, take into account that if you're willing to use the Foe-hammer, you won't be able to use bow's response in that attack.
- Unless you have Hasty Stroke in hand, avoid using Arwen Undómiel for defensive tasks.
- This deck does not have that many allies and that would be its major weakness.
Improvements:
- Despite there are several options for card draw, do not find Nenya or Unexpected Courage in the early game could be an issue. Gather Information would be helpful on this regard.
- Feint is probably a better option than Hasty Stroke. On the other hand, I do prefer to save every resource for Na'asiyah.
- I barely use the Veteran Sword-elves for anything other than discarding cards. They could be replaced for a more useful card.
- Sailor of Lune x3 maybe? Since Elven-light can easily be placed on top of the discard pile for most of game.
- Lords of the Eldar x2 + Will of the West (or a 2nd copy of Elladan), since I usually run out of cards by the end-game.
