Premise

This might be my favourite Dale deck out of the RCO+C pool. While it hasn't got the power or consistency of a 50-card Dale deck, the amount of options and cards you are presented with is just insane. Beravor, A Perilous Voyage and your normal draw already amounts to 4 cards per round, even before the ability of Brand son of Bain. That lets you really adjust your playing style to the scenario and potential other players, allowing for a very flexible deck and therefore an ever-changing experience where no two games really are the same.

How To Play

I usually look for some resource generation in my opening hand to keep track with the insane amount of draw you possess. Steward of Gondor and King of Dale are the big ones in that regard, with Traffic from Dale being especially useful mid- to late-game (which is why I don't usually prioritize it until later rounds). Gather Information is always great to see as well to fetch for said cards.

As with all my Dale decks, I believe you should usually prioritize giving each Dale character an attachment before loading them up with multiple ones (to maximize your drawing and willpower boost), at least in early rounds to see loads of options. After a few rounds, that focus usually shifts to build up super-strong allies like a fully maxed Guardian of Esgaroth.

With the Forced effect of the contract, I usally grab something that fits the current situation. That might be something like Valiant Determination for a character loaded up with attachments, Redwater Sentry if you are really struggling with enemy pressure or a Steward if you have a full hand and not that many resources to play with.

Considerations

In a multiplayer game, Warrior of Dale becomes an appealing option if you are really struggling with attacks. Unexpected Courage is not that needed on your heroes but can be great across the table as well. Hasty Stroke and Heed the Dream are generally excellent and can be included if you wish to do so in almost any scenario. Man the Walls is also a straight include if you play with 3 or 4 players.

Enjoy!!!
