By taking advantage of the healing passive of Elrond you are able to keep your allies and Heroes healthy for longer. With Galadhrim Healer you actually get to heal 2 on each hero of chosen player and the card can be cheaper to play if you combine that with O Lórien!. Similarly, Silvan Tracker allows you to heal Sylvan characters when they ready during the refresh phase. And of course the honorable healing mentions of: Lembas, Daughter of the Nimrodel, and Healing Herbs.

Now that you have a solid healing game, it is time to dish out the hurt. First and foremost, Elrond gives you the ability to use his resources to recruit allies of any sphere. Giving you the ability to load up on allies much sooner in the game. Then, by taking advantage of Sylvan trait from Legolas and Celeborn, as well as Legolas' Ranged ability, you can start to utilize cards that benefit from one or both. By getting as many Ranged allies out to play as possible you really get to see Rúmil shine gloriously as you play him from your hand. By dealing damage to an enemy engaged with you equal to the number of cards with ranged, it can get the job done. And then depending upon how much energy you have you can play Pursuing the Enemy to bring him back to your hand to play him again, even taking advantage of O Lórien! again. Then by using Orophin you can bring allies back from your discard and if played right could use Pursuing the Enemy in the same way as before. Overall stacking up attackers and potential defenders works out well with this strategy. Some additional honorable mentions: Greenwood Archer, Feigned Voices, Hands Upon the Bow, Rain of Arrows, and The Tree People.

Lastly, Legolas is an incredible attacker, by including Rivendell Blade, you reduce the defending enemy shield by 2. As well as the +1 (+2 if threat is 40+) you get from Valiant Sword or you can trade that for the Bow of the Galadhrim (I find it is best to use this on a multi-player game). Then, including Horn of Gondor on Elrond gives you a bigger energy pool to play with as characters leave play. Especially since you're using cards like Pursuing the Enemy, The Tree People, and Feigned Voices.

I hope you can enjoy this deck as much as I have!

Happy hunting!!
