Since the release of ALePs Fire on the Eastemmet, we have reached a critical mass of eagles ally in the game that we can have The Eagles Are Coming! reliable hit 3-4 targets, becoming one the best draw events in the game. Being a Tactics event it is also recycable with Háma, bringing new life to an old combo that has been available since the second cycle of the game. His errata to being only able too use his abilty 3x per game isn't too big of a limitation, cause even playing 4 times The Eagles Are Coming! should give you plenty of cards too play - especially cause they can find you more copies of themselves.

To supplement our strong card draw, our other two heroes Alagos and Radagast help with ressource generation and smoothing, especially once you get Radagast's Staff into play. Radagast also gives us acces to Word of Command allowing us too fetch a copy of The Eagles Are Coming! too kick our draw engine of in the first place,

From there on the deck pretty much builds itself - I included 3 copies of each non-unique eagle ally and event and 1 copy of the unique ones, already bringing us to 37 cards. Gondorian Shield and Protector of Lórien are here to boost Radagast as our main defender, cause 3 Defense isn't all that much. We should have enough draw to discard to Protector of Lórien, which is especially good on Radagast cause he will be questing and defending most turns. Daeron's Runes is actually debatable in this deck, cause more Eagle cards would help you more if you're looking for pure handsize advantage, but i think it's worth it to dig for your key cards early on.

If you willing to cut into your Eagle count, you can include A Burning Brand or Warden of Healing for quests with lots of direct damage effects, but I didn't find them to be necessary, especially cause you sometimes are happy to kill a Descendant of Thorondor of Meneldor with direct damage to trigger their effect. I did not include Support of the Eagles case I find it to often be a win more card, yor first need to get a strong Eagle out, it's expensive and doesnt even have the Eagle trait.

This deck feels super consistent with all the card draw and is among the strongest Háma decks i have played, beating a Foe-hammer + weapon engine cause you draw likely even more cards and don't rely on a two card combo. You sacrifice some overall card quality, Winged Guardian or Eagle Emissary are for example rather weak allies, but the consistency makes up for it.

with acces to tactic i am a big fan of Flight of the Eagles in eagledecks.

would in your case reduce Chieftain of the Skies by 2 (they are so expensive) and perhaps 1 Breath of Arda (how often do u play it? maybe once in a game? else seems winmore to me)

Any Hama deck gets an instant like from me-- especially when he's not just there to recycle Feint or Thicket of Spears. This one looks incredibly fun!

I agree with Doomguard that Flight of the Eagles is amazing-- it gives you a free Eagle bounce, plus down the road you get a strong ally and a free kill.

As always, Steward of Gondor makes basically any deck with Leadership access better, and in this case would get you an extra point of defense on Radagast (giving him the Gondor trait for that Gondorian Shield). But it's obviously a terrible fit thematically!

For better thematic fits, Golden Crown can be fetched by The Eagles are Coming! If you're playing solo it might not seem as useful, but you can trigger it after determining combat damage to discard a Vassal of the Windlord or a Winged Guardian who was going to get discarded anyway, or you can ditch a Wilyador you couldn't afford anymore, recouping a resource in the process. (Unfortunately, there's no window to let us do the same trick with the Eagle Emmisary.) Plus it lets you get on-demand damage or progress from Descendent of Thorondor and Meneldor.

You could also run Gandalf instead of Woodman's Clearing (and possibly Hidden Roosts) for threat reduction or supplemental draw / damage, which would let you use Gwaihir's Debt (which Hama could also recycle!), and a Wizard Pipe would let you stack Gandalf on top of your deck to guarantee Gwaihir's Debt would hit. If you do include Gandalf, Sneak Attack is always welcome and would also pair really nicely with a lot of your eagles-- extra progress/damage from Meneldor / Descendent of Thorondor, easy way to get Alagos' resource, cheap way to chuck an extra eagle under the Eagles of the Misty Mountain, etc. If an attack is going to destroy a hero, you can drop in Landroval to save him for just one resource.

But my favorite combo would be Sneak Attack + Gwaihir + Golden Crown. Discard an eagle to Golden Crown for a resource (if that eagle is, say, Meneldor, you can place two progress). Sneak in Gwaihir and pull that eagle right back (gaining a resource from Alagos and placing two more progress with Meneldor). Gwaihir's eagle lasts until the end of the round, so you can sneak in Gwaihir during the quest phase and keep the bonus eagle around for combat, too. Then at the end of the round the eagle bounces back to your hand (getting you two more progress). Costs one resource, gains you two resources, potentially places six points of progress, lets you use Gwaihir + your bonus eagle's stats for a round, and returns Meneldor to hand so you can get four more progress tokens out of him next round.

@doomguard @Some Sort Thanks for your replies. Flight of the Eagles would have been an include pre-Alep but now i prefer the bouncing of Breath of Arda, even if you play it for only one ressource on a Descendant of Thorondor or Meneldor it gives great value, and you can fetch it with The Eagles Are Coming!.

Golden Crown is a card i wasnt aware of its potential with the discarding Eagles, thanks for pointing that out, i could see a copy in this deck.

Sneak Attack + Gandalf were a consideration, and yes, sneaking in Gwaihir ist great too. I mainly avoided it because i'm actually tired of it because it makes almost every leadership deck better. Same goes for Steward of Gondor. If you look for maximum Power, they probably make this deck stronger but i enjoy playing some cards i use less.
