Galion can do it

The humble servant of the cask gets his revenge.

This deck is built around the idea of playing in secrecy, keeping your threat so low that you never engage enemies but destroy them before they can strike—while they are still in the staging area. To achieve this, I needed a hero with the lowest possible threat. After some testing with Glorfindel (Spirit), the breakthrough came from an unexpected character: (MotK) Galion. Using the Messenger of the King contract, Galion starts the game with a threat of just 1. Adding Galadriel, who not only prevents threat increase but also provides access to the Spirit sphere and her powerful Willpower (thanks to Nenya), creates the perfect duo. The third hero, Haldir of Lórien, is the silent blade of this trio: attacking the staging area directly without needing engagement, dealing precise and lethal blows.

Strengths of the deck

Deep Secrecy: Starting threat is very low (19!), allowing you to easily use cards like Resourceful and stay invisible for most of the game.

Impeccable threat management: Between Galadriel, Elrond's Counsel, Double Back, and The Galadhrim's Greeting, the threat is always under control.

Absolute board control: Enemies are identified and eliminated before they can even engage, thanks to Haldir of Lórien, Ithilien Lookout, Ranger Bow, and Ithilien Pit

High consistency: With the draw engine based on Elven-light, Mirror of Galadriel, Daeron's Runes, and Silver Harp, you always have access to your key cards.

Main combos

(MotK) Galion + Nenya + Unexpected Courage→ Galion starts alone, but with Nenya active and Unexpected Courage, he becomes a quester with 4 or more willpower, ready to act twice. Silver Circlet boosts his willpower even further.

Haldir of Lórien + Ranger Bow + Unexpected Courage→ Enemies take passive damage with Ranger Bow, and then are finished off by Haldir, who ignores engagement. Other Rangers are there to help him.

Mirror of Galadriel + Silver Harp +Elven-light→ A powerful draw engine that lets you quickly access any combo in the deck.

Ithilien Lookout/Celduin Traveler + Risk Some Light → A dangerous combo that allows you to "see" and "punish" encounter cards before they become a threat.

Will of the West→ Recycle everything and start the cycle again in the late game, when the deck has already scaled the curve.

Glamdring → Provides the +2 that Haldir needs to defeat stronger enemies. Alternatively, the Legacy Blade, which powers up with Slides. Also useful for boosting Thalion

This deck is perfect for solo play against difficult quests that punish early engagement or lack of staging area control. And it's the best way to show the world that (MotK) Galion, the humble servant of the cask, can be a legendary hero... when he has the right companions. .
