This is an updated and refined version of my deck. It lacks the pure green beauty of the original deck, but it is more powerful. Hero Quickbeam replaces hero Treebeard and the ally versions of both swap accordingly from Quickbeam to Treebeard. This enables the use of cards from , especially the powerful allies Derndingle Warrior, Booming Ent, Marksman of Lórien and Legolas and helpful cards like Secret Vigil, Boomed and Trumpeted and Feint.

Ally Treebeard acts so to say as forth hero, that can be used to pay for Ents or ready them (or Silvans due to The Last Alliance). If you are lucky to have him in your opening hand you can play him in the first round thanks to the discount from The Last Alliance and get the most out of his ability.

The Last Alliance is mainly used for:

And of course the discount from The Last Alliance can be used almost every round, helps to build your board faster. Another nice form of cost reduction that works very well in this deck is the brand new Seasoned Forager.

Opening Hand

You should mulligan for Treebeard, Seasoned Forager and Entmoot. Cheap allies combined with The Tree People are also a desirable option - summoning Treebeard with Henamarth Riversong is very satisfying :)

Heroes

Quickbeam is a powerful attacker and his ability can be used often as there is a lot of healing if necessary. With an Ent Draught he also might take undefended attacks. He should get Seasoned Forager to balance the ressources.

Argalad is a hero I never used before, but I like his ability. If necessary, he can be used before resolving the quest to reduce the of an enemy and potentially dealing 1 damage to him.

Mirlonde job is still to be a beautiful green Silvan (and to reduce your inital threat level...). Haldir of Lórien could be another option, but I prefer the lower threat.

Allies

Derndingle Warrior is a fantastic defender without any additional attachments, of course Ent Draught and some healing (you should have no problems with healing) make him even more powerful. Booming Ent can hit very hard, the same goes for Marksman of Lórien and Legolas, whose card draw is always welcomed.

The lore allies mainly quest and support. Wellinghall Preserver and Silvan Tracker deliver constant healing for both Ents and Silvans. Henamarth Riversong is useful for some scrying and he, Galadhrim Minstrel or Wandering Ent are my preferred targets for The Tree People. Always try to use the ally with the trait, that has less characters in play to use The Last Alliance to replay that ally for 0 or 1 ressource.

Attachments

Ent Draught is best used for Derndingle Warrior and Quickbeam, who also gets Seasoned Forager. Secret Vigil and Favor of the Valar are the only options to reduce your threat, Box of Earth adds some location control and fits thematically very nice.

Events

Peace, and Thought provides powerful card draw and should be used with Quickbeam, as his ability allows to ready him if needed. So you are trading one ressource plus only one hero action for drawing 5 cards! Entmoot, The Tree People and Galadhrim Minstrel deliver additional card draw.

Sideboard

If needed some more location control could be added from the sideboard (Asfaloth and/or The Evening Star). If the quest has some nasty conditions Athelas helps with Daughter of the Nimrodel or Galadhrim Healer.

For hard hitting enemies Cloak of Lórien could be used with The Last Alliance to increase the defence of Derndingle Warrior, ideally combined with Box of Earth.

Bow of the Galadhrim could be used to boost Argalad or your ranged attackers, but I never really needed this, so I cut the card from my deck.
