The goal of this (untested!) multiplayer deck is to do about 100% of the defending for the fellowship and about 25% of the attacking. It revolves around giving Gandalf an absurd amount of action economy and putting A Burning Brand in his hand to avoid shadow effects for the duration of the game given the fairly limited options among the heroes for defending with A Burning Brand.

The process: Use Thurindir to complete Gather Information in the first turn and snag Wizard Pipe. The pipe allows Gandalf to play non- cards precisely when he or his companions need them; most importantly, attaching A Burning Brand to him by placing it on top of the deck (as he will have a printed icon when playing A Burning Brand face up on your deck).

Mulligan for Shadowfax so Gandalf can defend for everyone which will also allow him to play Armored Destrier to ready and defend multiple times. Ultimately Gandalf should be riding two horses and toting his staff and A Burning Brand. There is some redundancy in these items, meaning that if you don't get A Burning Brand in a reasonable amount of time you likely at least have an Armored Destrier or Gandalf's Staff so the concept still (somewhat) works. Between Shadowfax, Unexpected Courage, and an Armored Destrier or two, Gandalf can defend up to 5 times with no nasty surprises. On top of all that, adding on Dúnedain Warning increases his respectable 3 to up to 6 and means he should be able to easily handle what is thrown at him.

In the meantime, Haldir of Lórien is plinking away, ideally with the benefit of some Dúnedain Marks and a Rivendell Blade. Hopefully your fellowship is handling the lion's share of the offense. Thurindir quests for 3 and both he and Haldir of Lórien use their resources to help manage locations/threat through paths (Woodmen's Path, Secret Paths, Strider's Path) and allies (Firyal, Mirkwood Explorer).

Healing is in the form of Lembas, Self Preservation, and the esteemed Warden of Healing. Lembas is a great candidate for Gandalf for even more actions. Now that I think about it, I may have gone a little overboard on healing and could replace some healing cards with things to help Haldir of Lórien's offense like Bow of the Galadhrim.

What this deck doesn't really do well - and what your fellowship will need to focus on - is more offense, questing, and card-draw/resource acquisition. Gandalf's Staff can help out others in a pinch but Daeron's Runes and Mithrandir's Advice are really there to ensure that all of the cards that make this concept work make it onto the board in time to be effective.
